Tolu BW thumb Why did you apply to Business Data Partners (BDP)?

I always wanted to work for a growing organisation as I knew it would present me with many opportunities and expose me to parts of the business I might not necessarily see at a larger corporation. Being part of a company where everyone knows your name was attractive and I knew I would be recognised for my efforts, large or small, in contributing to the growth and success of the company.

How did you find the recruitment process?

The recruitment process was simple, straightforward and an enjoyable experience. During my interview, I learnt that BDP is a company that treats their employees well, and their people and culture is at the heart of their values. My interviewers took time to understand my career aspirations and made me feel very much at ease. After accepting my offer, I felt part of the team instantly with their keeping in touch initiative which went above and beyond to ensure I settled into the company perfectly.

What support have you received to help you progress and develop?

On my first day, I was presented with a bespoke training plan, assigned a mentor and line manager to support me in my career development. With hard work and guidance from the support network around me, I completed all learning objectives on my plan and achieved my Base SAS certification. I know BDP is a company who values the development of their employees.

When you are not working, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I am a massive football fan. I play 5 aside football regularly with my mates and enjoy going to watch my local football team home or away. I love travelling and exploring new cities as well; even more so when I can take my passion of football and watch a game in a new city.
