The BDP Graduate Programme lasts for a period of 2 years, throughout which you will receive dedicated technical and soft-skills training, as well as hands-on experience of consultancy work at client locations.
On joining, you will receive your induction to the company which will introduce you to how we operate as a business, as well as provide a chance to meet other BDP colleagues. You will be assigned a mentor, who will be someone who has recently graduated from the Graduate Programme, so that they can guide you through BDP’s processes. You will also be assigned a line manager, who you will report into and will be responsible for helping you to manage your career at BDP.
The first two months of the graduate programme will include comprehensive SAS technical training and behavioural training to prepare you for client placement. Following this initial training, you will be allocated to a client project, and will join your BDP colleagues at a client location, in order to gain real experience of working as a graduate consultant.
As the programme progresses you will receive additional training to allow you to further develop and expand your skillset. Throughout the programme we encourage you to attend and become involved in the organisation of community events. You will receive regular programme reviews where you will be able to give feedback on your experience and progress-to-date as well as future aspirations.
