The career of a BDP consultant is one of variety and many opportunities; no two projects or roles are the same. You will have the opportunity to work with clients to create effective solutions and deliver business transformation. This could involve projects which shape and transform our clients’ data, processes and technology as well as using data, analytics, and reporting to help clients make informed decisions. This demands that consultants have a high level of intuition, flexibility, and adaptability.
The majority of work conducted by BDP consultants takes place at our clients’ offices, which can be anywhere in the UK and Ireland. After an initial 2-month period of intensive training, our graduate consultants join other BDP consultants at our client’s offices and this is when theory is put into practice.
Graduate roles vary across the client portfolio and exist at all stages of a project, which includes designing, building and testing solutions for implementation. This could involve changes to processes, migrating platforms or introducing a new data-driven infrastructure. Irrespective of the project, the work will call upon your reasoning and your ability to find solutions to challenges at hand. Each client and role has its own requirements and expectations, whilst offering opportunities to learn, develop and make an impact with both the client and BDP.
